Presenting the Newest Additions to the RISE Roster

The vision of RISE Live Events from the very beginning was to utilize today’s best to develop tomorrow’s brightest. At the conclusion of RISE 2 – ASCENT, we were able to find balance for our cards. Roughly one third of the cards would be Featured Talents and Special Guests, another third talent selected directly from our Seminars and one third from an established, core RISE Roster.

The RISE Roster is comprised 100% of talent identified from our World Class Development and RISE on the Road Seminars, talent we have identified to be focal points of stories told in the ring.

At the conclusion of RISE 2, our roster began with six women: Phoenix of RISE Champion Delilah Doom, Dust, Britt Baker, Chelsea Green, Kikyo and Shotzi Blackheart. At RISE 3, we added Deonna Purrazzo and Jewells Malone. After RISE 5, we grew once more adding Jessica Troy, Charli Evans, Kylie and Zoe Lucas. And now, the time has come to grow the roster once more.

As many know, “Big Swole” Aerial Monroe was added to the roster after standing toe-to-toe with SHIMMER Champion Nicole Savoy at RISE 6 – BRUTALITY and outlasting many others in a special Battle Royal at AWS Promotions December 2. That Battle Royal boiled down to a one-on-one contest seeing Aerial defeat Willow Nightingale to solidify her place as a RISE Roster Member.

And now, for the first time we publicly welcome and congratulate the newest additions to the RISE Roster!

Welcome, Heather Monroe! We first met Heather at RISE 1 – IGNITE and would get to know her more at RISE 5 – RISING SUN and RISE 6. And in the short time between RISE 6 and the recent RISE on the Road – Austin, Heather had shown just how hard she’s been working to evolve as a performer, and now will be a permanent fixture in RISE. Rumor has it Heather is also looking to make a go in The Tag Team Awakening. Rumor has it Heather’s prospective partner would be Killer.

Welcome, Ray Lyn! From The German Suplex of DOOM from Shayna Baszler at RISE 1 to being literally dragged about Berwyn by the hair by Saraya Knight at RISE 5, Ray Lyn has proven herself to be tenacious! Always entertaining in the ring, Ray Lyn is not a competitor to be taken lightly. Now, as one half of Bones of Contention with partner Karen Q, Ray Lyn looks to make a big impression in The Tag Team Awakening with her partner despite their…minor differences of opinion…

Welcome, Karen Q! Karen Q walked through the curtain at RISE 5 and immediately commanded the attention of the audience. Fighting against three people at once is a challenge in and of itself, but holding one’s own with Saraya Knight is no small feat. Karen would move on to make further impressions in RISE-sanctioned matches preceding SHIMMER Volume 96 with her…somewhat reluctant tag team partner, Ray Lyn. Now, the ever-argumentative Bones of Contention are both on the roster, ready to make waves in The Tag Team Awakening.

Welcome, Miranda! We met Miranda at the first RISE on the Road Seminar with Sabotage in October 2017. A month later, Miranda had earned the admiration of the Chicago fans, receiving an ovation for her tremendous effort after a targeted attack from Ray Lyn and Karen Q. Miranda’s efforts even earned a nod from Saraya Knight, a nod not easily earned by anyone. Miranda is currently in the midst of a tour with STARDOM in Japan and has been proving herself against some of the world’s best. Now, with Miranda on the roster and her tag team partner Kylie in Wily Smilies, she is surely a competitor to watch closely in the year ahead!

Congratulations to all these wonderful, talented ladies, and thank you for being a part of what we do!
